Upper Little Creek Carp

Foul hooked in the tail. Fought like a monster. Thanks to my crew (Ian and Jamie) for helping land it. Ian pinned it down in the water to keep it from getting away.

Fishing has been slow lately. First thing I've caught all week. I see them in there but no dice.
A friend of mine caught a nice Bowfin. They've only toyed with me however. I have some new lures in my arsenal and will try again tomorrow.

Upper Little Creek Bass

Caught this little guy. 10 minutes later I lost that smile after loosing a 10+ lb Bowfin. An 18 hour day of fishing. Ended the day with a few small Channel Cats.

The fish are really active in the creek systems. We caught two about this size within 10 minutes of each other.

Caught this little fellow in the creek this morning. I'm not sure what he was thinking. My spinnerbait was half his size.

Bowfin #2

Caught this fish at Northeast Creek Impoundment. He hit my lure then let go. That was about the same time I set the hook so in the end he had a treble hook in his dorsal fin. That made for a really interesting fight.
